What a year it’s been.
We want to take this opportunity to reflect on what our team and this community have built together in 2022.
At the end of 2021, we launched Logcast in beta. Today, just over a year later, this community is buzzing with 15,000 creators from more than 60 countries.
The year started strong with the release of Circles
Circles brought social into audio in a way you haven’t experienced before. Circles let you co-create podcasts with your friends, listen to others’ thoughts about a certain topic and participate in the conversation in real time.
We kept up the pace and released several other major features throughout the year.
We partnered with Spotify
Logcast teamed up with our friends at Spotify to expand our distribution network to more than 450 million listeners.
From January 2023, creators can record their voice in the Logcast app and share it directly to Spotify — it will be instantly visible and searchable, just like any song or podcast. The best part? Set a price in Logcast, and let your fans pay you directly to unlock and listen. The new feature is rolling out worldwide from January — sign up to the waitlist on logcast.io for early access.
Personalized Playlists
We believe in doing things differently, so we killed the boring audio feed that you’re used to on other platforms and let you build your own personalized playlist — based on the creators you love to listen to, the topics you are passionate about or the friends you miss and want to hear from.
$UPERLOGS
We changed the game of how audio creators make money with $UPERLOGS — record your voice, set a price and let your most dedicated listeners pay you to stream it. Creators on Logcast keep 80% of revenues, and you can withdraw your earnings at any time.
Logs near me
Filter your feed based on where you are and what’s happening around you. Filter logs to Near Me on your Playlist to hear what’s been recorded close to you — in real time. Tune in to what other tables are discussing in the restaurant you’re at, or listen to what’s on your neighbour’s mind today.
NFMs (“Non-Fungible Memories”)
We launched the world’s first voice NFTs — we call them NFMs, or Non-Fungible Memories. Turn your memories into NFTs, keep them for yourself or sell them as digital collectibles.
We launched NFM Wallets
Record your voice, mint it on the Polygon blockchain as an NFT, and collect your recordings in your own Logcast NFM Wallet.
The NFM Marketplace
Since we like to do things our own way, we also built you a marketplace to sell your NFMs and collect ones from others! Visit logcast.io and click ‘NFM Drops’ to see all the latest NFMs available for you to collect from your favorite creators.
Looking back at an epic year of product focus behind us, we couldn’t be more excited for 2023. It’s going to be our biggest one yet.
